MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is excited to announce offering baking classes in the summer at PizzaPapalis & Rio Wraps on Long Lake and Telegraph in Bloomfield Hills. Each class will incorporate a very detailed list of instruction for each child to being able to follow along as well as visual images so that you will be able to help your child in any way that they need. The classes while incorporate a hierarchy. You can follow along with the level that your child is at as well as core vocabulary words for this session to work on their expressive language skills, as well as following commands throughout the session so that you can work on their receptive language skills. The classes will also incorporate a social skills group at the end, in which we’ll be able to eat the items that we had just created. Each class will incorporate all of these skills and more, and you’ll be able to meet with other members of the MetroEHS family.
